ProfEC Ventus has successfully completed its involvement in a major wind energy project in Bolivia, marking the final milestone of a long-term assignment that began in 2019. As part of the final mission, Managing Director Mathias Hoelzer and Project Engineer Luis Aliaga visited the project sites in the lowlands around Santa Cruz. 

The project, commissioned by the national utility ENDE, comprises three wind farms with a total installed capacity of 108 MW. ProfEC Ventus provided technical and financial monitoring throughout the implementation phase in line with contractual and financing requirements, including supervision under a FIDIC Yellow Book framework. 

Following construction, ProfEC Ventus carried out verification activities upon taking-over and again after the two-year defects notification period. The scope of work also included the assessment of output and outcome indicators, as well as the preparation of comprehensive monitoring, verification, and project completion reports. 

With the successful completion of all verification stages, the project now stands as a fully delivered and validated contribution to Bolivia’s renewable energy infrastructure.
